Çağdaş Sanatta her ne kadar mekânın belleği, tarihsel, inançsal, proporsiyonel ve ek unsurlarla sanata katkı yapsa da tarihi mekanda olduğu gibi yalın mekânın olanakları da faydaya dönüştürülerek etkili bir sanat alanı olabilmektedir. Bu nedenle mekan algısını sanat bağlamında değerlendirerek, mekanın estetik algıyı etkileyen faktörlerini anket ve örneklerle inceledim. Sergilenen mekanın algılanma biçimleri, mekanı dışavurum mekanı olarak değerlendirmeme yardımcı oldu. Kutsallık ve dünyevilik bağlamlarında mekanın aurasını, günümüzde sanata teşvik ettiğini gözlemlediğim/düşündüğüm 21. yüzyıl mesenleri arasında yerini alan Katolik lider Papa Francesco’nun düşüncesi, desteği ve yaratıcı zekası ile etkili olduğu çağdaş sanat uygulamalarıyla değerlendirdim. Bu çalışmada, sanatçı ve sanatçıların yaratımının, müdahalesinin ve mesenin desteği ve zekasıyla ortaya çıkan sanatın tarihi ve yalın mekanlarda aynı etkide gerçekleştirilebileceği sonucuna varılmıştır. Disiplinlerarasılık ve her türlü teknolojik olanak, algılamada kutsal ya da dünyevi etkiyi ayrıca güçlendirmektedir. Günümüzde Vatikan’ın bakış açısı ve mesenliği, dolaylı yoldan sanatın desteklenmesine, yeni diller aranmasına, yeni yöntemler bulunmasına ve uygulanmasına neden olmaktadır. Çünkü soyut kavramları görselleştirme becerisi ancak sanatçının gücüyle gerçekleşmektedir.

In contemporary art, although the memory of the space contributes to art with historical, religious, proportional and additional elements, the possibilities of nominative space can be transformed with benefits as in the historical space and become an effective art space. Therefore, by evaluating the perception of space in the context of art, I examined the factors affecting the aesthetic perception of space with survey and art examples. The perceptions of the exhibited space helped me to consider the space as an expression. I have evaluated art according to the concepts of Holiness and Secularity in the aura of the space of the events, with the thought, support and creative intelligence of contemporary Catholic leader Pope Francesco, who supports art and took his place as an art patron in the 21st century that I have observed / thought. In this study, it has been concluded that the art that arises with the support and intelligence of the creation and intervention of artists, can be realized with the same effect in historical and simple/neutral places. Interdisciplinarity and all kinds of technological possibilities also reinforce the holy or secular influence in perception. Today, the Vatican’s perspective and wisdom indirectly support art, seek new languages, find and implement new methods. Because the ability to visualize abstract concepts is realized only with the power of the artist.
