Bu araştırma bir gelecek tahayyülü kurmak amacıyla posthümanist bir sanat anlayışı geliştirmeyi amaçlar. Düalist evrenin dışından düşünmek için bedenselliği, türleri ve cinsiyetler arasılığı çağdaş sanat üzerinden keşfe çıkar. Sahiplendiği queerleştirme pratiğini posthümanist geleceğin bir parçası olarak görür. Birçok soruya yanıt ararken merkezdeki soru hep şudur: “Hangi yaşamlar yası tutulabilecek kadar değerlidir?” Bu çalışma queer teoriyi ve hayvan çalışmalarını bir diyaloğa sokarak çağdaş sanat alanında karnofallogosatrik bakışın izini sürer ve nasıl silindiği veya silinebileceğine dair bir teori geliştirmek ister. Merkezine 2000’lerden itibaren aldığı yaklaşık 20 yıllık süreçte egemen özneden kendini sıyıran kültürel kuramların gelişimiyle paralel ilerleyen çağdaş sanat eserlerini alır. Geçmişin hayaletleri olan çeşitli ceset parçalarını içeren sanat eserlerini eleştirel ve dönüştürücü bir söylemle gözden geçirir ve sanatsal üretimin olumlayıcı etik etrafında gelişmesi gereken anlayışı şekillendirmeye girişir. Kendisini Eleştirel Post-Beşeri Bilimler’in bir parçası olarak düzenler. Bu sebeple de posthümanist etiği benimsemiş eserler üzerinden, geleceği şimdinin sanatında kurar. Çağdaş sanatta karnofallogosantrik egemen öznenin izlerini sürerken onu dağıtır ve yeni yollar keşfetmeyi amaçlar.

This research aims to develop a posthumanist understanding of art for the purpose of envisioning a future. In order to think outside the box of dualities, it explores corporeality, species and intergender through contemporary art. It sees queering as a part of posthuman future. While seeking answers to many questions, the central question is always: “Which lives are worth mourning?” This research traces carnophallogocentric perspective in the field of contemporary art and theorizes how it is erased or can be erased by putting queer theory and animal studies into a dialogue. In its center, it puts the contemporary art pieces, taken from 2000’s onwards progressing in parallel with the development of cultural theories that stripped themselves of the dominant subject in the 20-year period. It examines the art pieces which include dead body parts that are ghosts of the past with a critical and transformative discourse and attempts to shape the understanding that artistic production should develop around affirmative ethics. It organizes itself as Critical-Post Humanities. Therefore, through the art pieces that adopt posthumanist ethics, it builds the future in today’s art. While tracing the carnophallogocentric dominant subject in contemporary arts, it dismantles it and aims at exploring new ways.
