Recognizing the interdisciplinary nature of the topic of equity, Equitable Society provides an inclusive platform for various subject disciplines and methodological approaches. Its purpose is to develop clearer conceptions, stronger theory, and more compelling empirical evidence on ways to create more equitable societies.  The journal aims to be the top venue for research addressing the grand challenge of Equity, showcasing research from several perspectives, supporting global campaigns with a prominent, specific identity, and informing policies, public debates, and political agendas.
