摘要:
The Journal of Electronic Materials reports on the science and technology of electronic materials, while examining new applications of semiconductors, metallic and magnetic alloys, insulators, and optical and display materials. It strives to publish articles of interest to both specialists and non-specialists in the field of electronic materials. The journal welcomes articles on methods for fabricating electronic materials and evaluating their chemical, physical, electronic, and optical properties. Specific areas of interest are materials for state-of-the-art transistors, quantum spintronics, nanotechnology, metallization, and superconductivity, and their applications in detectors, emitters, quantum information science and technology, energy, and electronic packaging. The journal publishes technical articles detailing new developments in the field of electronic materials, as well as invited and contributed review articles on topics of current interest. The main article types are: Original Research Articles: full-length articles that deal with new and original research work Review Articles: lengthier articles providing comprehensive and up-to-date information on a certain area of research, enabling readers to keep abreast of activities in areas peripheral to their own Brief Communications: short articles intended to communicate exciting new findings that will have high impact in the field Topical Collection Articles: submitted as part of a group of articles concerned with research on the same topic-sometimes originating at a conference-presented in a dedicated collection. Minimum article requirements for topical collection are determined by the editorial team on a case-by-case basis. All submissions to the Journal of Electronic Materials must be within its scope and address important questions relevant for the research of electronic materials. In addition, submissions should substantially advance scientific knowledge, with interpretation of results based on discussion of underlying physics/chemistry mechanisms. While the journal values potential interest of submitted manuscripts to closely related disciplines, the main perspective of the communicated research should be on electronic materials. It is equally important that all submissions adhere to the highest principles of scientific publishing ethics. .
